It hit me when I saw people talking about Alpha's New setup, it's gonna be big, and it'll spread like a wildfire. You watch. For an extra $10 or something, they'll give you decent 3D glasses (at least ones that won't break easily) and they'll bring a whole new level or realism to the game.
Just kidding, It'd probably suck.

its funny how people are talking about this new 3d technology............... remember when they had 3d movies in the 1950s? i cant wait for the new technology that allows me to use a device to speak to another person at another location on the same device! thats going to blow up huge!....... kinda seems like im thinking of something that may have been done already?

yeah i get that same feeling, sometimes I wish there was something people could use on the internet that corrected bad spelling, but if it was real, wouldn't people use it?
I dont know, but I must be crazy for wanting to use something like that :)

someone should try to create a transport that allows me to fly from one place to another... that would make traveling so much easier. but i think were years behind that technology.

that's not 3D anyway, but rather VR, or Virtual Reality...
Vuzix has something called AR, or Augmented Reality. Which if you have seen Iron Man 1 or 2, is somewhere along the lines of the PC that he has.
so you can interact with non existent objects in a real time environment, but we are pretty far from that, but we are close to it by wearing glasses.
