issue with my Astro A40 turning off

Last night my Astro A40 started turning off right after I turn it on (5-10 seconds)
I have had it charging for hours, is it possible its broken? Are there any suggestions out there for me to try?
I really want this to be functional tonight when MW2 comes out.

Same EXACT thing happened to me this morning, Ive only had it for about not even a month. It always stays plugged into the usb port on my 360 so I turn on my 360 and then turn on the Mixamp and it usually works, I was looking forward to gaming on MW2 as well. :(
