I use Kaspersky Internet Security. It's less hoggy than Norton and you have better control of your files unlike Norton where you don't.

My friend has the Norton Internet Security 2010. He scanned once a week and updated once a day. I asked him to lend me some coursework and when I plugged it into my computer my Kaspersky Internet Security detected about three Trojans.

I took it back round his and he scanned it and found nothing. He is going to upgrade within the next month or so to Kaspersky Pure.

I am waiting for my license to run out and then I'm upgrading to that Kaspersky Pure.

I've had 7 x64 since X-Mas and everything is as smooth as ice on it. No problems what-so-ever.

Are you sure the whole thing became corrupt?

I used Norton IS for 8 years but then it started saying some of my files were Trojans and they weren't and it would delete them. Like hack programs are not Trojans and it would delete them. With Kaspersky, you have total control.
