Why is the mixamp so expensive?

The mixamp looks like it could cost like 60$ especially since the mixamp headset combo is only 250, making the amp only 50. Why is this piece so expensive dags?

Yea im pretty sure thats the whole thing is they just want you to buy them together bc its pretty much pointless well for me at least to buy the mixamp without the headset

I Suspect it has to do with the number of units they produce per run and the deal they have with their manufacturer. Then consider that they also need to retain/hire support staff, developers/engineers, marketing, sales, and various other sundry Business type entities. When you purchase the bundle you're spending more so they can knock off some of the cost and not lose money. Honestly I'd love for the units to be less expensive I have a bunch of peeps I 'd love to purchase them for However.. I'd like to see new products eventually and have continued support. Generally those are mutually exclusive desires so ..
