Some friends of mine from my old church tried making this.
When I was trying to find a recipe to make what they made, I came across THIS monster.

I'm a pretty hefty guy 230 pounds and about 6 foot but just the sight of this abomination makes me so very sad to be american. It instantly made me think of Jim Gaffigan's comedy routine where he said it won't be long before they come up with a sandwich with two doughnuts as buns. Well they skipped that effort and went straight to the next worst thing, two f'n chicken patties sandwiching a mess of cheese and bacon. Have some self control people and just say no to the heart attack inducing KFC 'Doubledown'. (For the record this is no attack on War Blade for getting his grub on but I felt someone needed to take the opposite position on the matter.... It's lonely over here :p)

believe it or not they do have a burger with 2 doughnuts. i posted a picture earlier on in the thread. its called the Luther burger. ive wanted to have one since i saw it on tv. so the legend goes it was invented by singer songwriter luther vandross. who died from a stroke after battling diabetes and hypertension. i want one

I'm totally supporting AstroShadow173 on this one!
As one of Warblade's groomsmen, I have no guilt in flaming him over this ridiculously unhealthy food! LOL
But then again, life is short. Might as well live it up.... I just strongly urge folks to live it up RESPONSIBLY!

LOL, Well you did eat two cheeseburgers from In & Out last week while out on lunch with me.
Just checked the In & Out website, and your Cheeseburger was 480 calories! You ate two of em, which would be 960. More than KFC's Doubledown at "550" (of course, I think they're lying about that calorie count, hahaha).

i could eat 5 in and out cheeseburgers. they are good. not a big fan of the fries though. wish we had one here in oregon :(

Ya know, I wasn't a fan of their fries until a few years ago. Now I love em. =P
Still the biggest In & Out burger I've eaten is just a 4x4 (4 meat patties, 4 slices of cheese). I used to eat those about ever 6 months or so, but I haven't had one of those beasts in over 2 years now. Guess I wised up some. I'm turning 30 this year, but my metabolism is still pretty high.

Sure, if you're willing to pay for it! That sounds quite expensive.

theirs no price too high id pay for a good burger. the best burger ive ever had was when i was touring with my old band and we were in reno a few years ago and i got the awful awful burger at the nugget casino. best burger ive ever had. and at 125 lbs with a bottomless stomach you can imagine how many burgers ive eaten in my lifetime. i would stake my reputation of food on that burger :) mmm if someone on the forums lives around reno please overnight me one!

I'm not a nutritionist at all... but aren't Fried Foods less healthy due to all its saturated fats and oils? In-N-Out Burgers are healthier than fried chicken, or am I an idiot in thinking more calories isn't such a bad thing?
Keep in mind, I also go to the gym 4x a week to burn it all off. Kinda like a Michael Phelps diet. haha.

if michael phelps can eatt mcdonalds and do some extra corricular drug activities and still be the best swimmer ever. more calories are good if your working out and things like that.... but not if your just going to eat then sit infront of the xbox for a few days haha
