looks to be yes, but i wonder if the warranty is still offered by just dell or astro, it may only come with a 30 day or something idk man but it looks pretty good. i mean i spent the 250 and didnt even care lol

wait so....people can get the A40 audio system from Dell for $199...? I thought the whole point of the whole "you can only get the A40s from Astro" was because if they sold them through other retailers the price would be much higher?

Or maybe this means we could be seeing a new headset soon from Astro?

I doubt that you we will be seeing a new headset from Astro soon, as they have said many many time, if they have something in store we will know

It looks like the deal is not active on dell now. So either they did have a few of them at that price (and now sold out), or possibly they were selling them and got reprimanded by Astrogaming. =P

I did read another forum with a guy who went through the ordering process, was assured by Dell that it was with the mixamp and what not, but got shipped just the headphones. He called and checked with Dell afterwards, and did see that there was another package coming in on 11/4/09. So who knows, maybe it will be the mixamp.

Too bad I wasn't there to jump on the "could be" deal, but I've gotten better deals on things before. =P That would be an interesting topic to do...
