Im a PC gamer and thinking of buying A30. Is there any advantage of buying a mixamp?
Note: I'm also like the in line mic for my mobile phone, so I don't want the A40.

Thanks

Two benefits, per-se, is the MixAmp's ability to blend your game volume and communication volume (that is, if your communication channel with ventrillo/teamspeak/steam is able to run through a separate USB soundcard, in this case, the MixAmp), and then the ability of Dolby Headphone technology built into the MixAmp. Some sound cards can also emulate different surround sound capabilities (such as Creatives CMSS-3D something or other), which work similarly to Dolby Headphone technology.

So you're saying mixamp with dolby technology can give you AMP 30 surround sound. How about if my Creative SB X-Fi can already create (or fake) surround sound with my old Tritton headphones, would I also be able to get surround sound with AMP 30?

Yeah, with the ASTRO A30s (or any headphones), you would be able to use the Creative software drivers to get the CMSS-3D stuff, which is similar to Dolby Headphone. Your game and voice volume would be set to whatever it is in game.
