A40's without Mix amp

Hey fellas,

First of all I don't know that much technically about astros, but I am interested in buying a new headset. Anyways here is my question.


Can A40's work without the mix amp on my X360 and would they be a improvement from turtle beaches.

You need the mix amp to hear and talk to people on xbox live so yea you need it. And as far as turtle beaches they suck compared to astros.I had my tb x31's for like 3 days then ordered astros.

a40 needs the mixamp to work with the 360

Yea because it is also how the dolby dig comes into play without it its useless

The ASTRO A40 Audio System needs the Mixamp in order to work with the Xbox 360, and they are a definite improvement over the Turtle Beach headsets.
