22" - 24" Monitor for Xbox Help

I have $500 CAD to spend on a monitor I cant go over 500 so taxes and shipping have to be included in that price range I will only be using it for my xbox and what ever comes out after that of course. I have been looking at newegg.ca and I have been looking at the Samsung PX2370. Just thought I would come on here and see what you guys had in mind :)

Have a look at my monitor guide, link in my sig, I use a Dell ST2210, HDMI input, low input lag, 5ms response time and it's full HD, 21.5inch, perfect for gaming aand it's widescreen. uh if you are really hankering for something bigger try the Dell ST2410 24-inch Full HD, its about $350 australian so it'll be less american aaaand that ST2210 that i have is $230 australian, again it'll be cheaper american.

I love my monitor, I would most definitely recommend it, any questions feel free to ask.

Looked for that monitor ST2410 could only find the ST2310 and ST2210 and the ST2310 is cheaper its 199 and the ST2210 is 209 :/

Yep the alienware monitors are the best but the price is very detering, I was going to get one before I found mine, to be honest I can't justify the price but if you have the cash and don't mind spending that much, go for it.

Do they normal have sales on their monitors before I order one the 2210 is $376 wondering if they ever go on sale I don't wanna buy it then it go on sale a week later :P.

Yeh they have sales every now and then I got mine 30 bucks cheaper, I don't know when they have sales though, as for 21.5 vs 24, it depends, being closer to your monitor is best and and if it's to big your eyes move more to see everything and you lose focus, if you're sitting further away it's the reverse so a bigger monitor would be better. With the adapter for audio yeh I bought it, comes with a hdmi cable so that suited me, some people crack the case off the old av cord and wedge it in there to get optical audio, you can do that but I like the adapter, the cash saved on the screen cam go towards that and save you from putting stress on the plugs on your xbox.

Wish I got it when it was on sale but of well. I have a 40" but im tired of playing on it I want something smaller.

The estimate delivery date says march 22 so maybe it will come this week who knows. I'll just be upset if it goes on sale a week later it always happens to me.

Beers you can get that audio adapter dongle for 25% of MS's price if you get it off-brand from amazon or elsewhere.

Got my monitor today havnt played any games on it yet but I saw there was a whitish around the outside of screen and the screen seems to like flicker to something? No idea maybe im just not use to monitors and im seeing things.

Are you seeing this on your PC? You shouldn't be seeing any of that. Maybe the resolution on your PC isn't set properly for the monitor, just a thought.

Well I went on Dell and saw that the AW2210 is on sale for $100 off. So I called them up since I got mine a week ago and they wont change the price. :/

If your still looking for a montior, ill be getting this one soon i live in the UK though and i tried finding it on the canada website and they dont have it on there but the USA website does, you can try to find it on newegg or something.

Yeah that is also the cheapest I have found it too, I didn't mean for him to import it from the uk because that would be extortionate lol, I live in the uk so I was comparing my situation to his it looks like an awesome monitor hope I'm not disappointed when I purchase it next week.
