How to get the most out of your ACR, suggestions?

I'm honestly having trouble, I'm constantly switching back and forth between the ARC and the scar, I like the ACR more, low recoil, better iron sights and it just feels better, but It never seems to kill quick enough, the Scar on the other hand has more recoil, obscure iron sights and it just feels loud, obnoxious and sloppy. But I do well with it, well, better than with the ACR.

The range of the ACR is brilliant, all I want is to up the power as much as I can, using Stopping power pro, and have been playing for a while and have set my classes well, but, it's just the ACR....FMJ only adds damage when you're shooting through objects.

What else is there I can do to up the power?

well, the way i use the ACR is to focus on burst shooting then holding the trigger down(although i do admit spraying like a mad man time to time),but, you'll get more bullets into a person that way. using silencer with stopping power may work for you, that way they dont turn around and shoot you when you are shooting at them due to the silencer. :D try that out let me know how that goes....oh and try not shoot far and stick to people medium range unless you're for sure can kill him.

if all else fails use a AK47 its a learning curve i had to go through to focus on burst shots because how bad of recoil it has but it only needs 2-3 burst shots to drop a enemy at least for me.

yeah i have that problem too but i use cold blooded pro with an acr hehe...if i do good with it ill stay with it..if not ill change to my scar class..sorry for no help here but take moldys advice hehe

Nevermind, I was having this same discussion with a freind of mine as we played last night...he loves the ACR, but as you said it took me forever to get someone down...I kept switching between ACR, SCAR-H and M16...I like the M16 but its not a full automatic....its a rough choice...maybe try the RDS (light machine gun)...i tried it last night with the grip and played pretty well...each gun has a learning curve...but seeing that im close to prestiging for the first time I dont find it worth the troube of getting to know every gun just yet...lol

yea.. using a silencer will reduce the recoil on the gun getting more bullets to land.. but i usually judge guns on how many people i can kill with a single clip.. and the Scar is usually 2.. ACR i can get 2 and then unload the rest into someone else and they end up not dying.. the FAMAS and Tar would probably be the best cuz i can kill at least 3 ppl on a single clip.. and this is all using coldblooded.. stopping power will shift all number up by 1.. also try aiming for the upper body so the slight recoil might catch a headshot..

This is true I can grab 3-4 people on a single clip I have stopping power on some guns but depending on what scenario I drop the stopping power and go full stealth mode.. But I do agreewith shawneboy Bout aiming on the upper area .. Kill only ones that favors your life than thiers and you should be set..

ACR is by far my best gun, And I always use a red dot sight and stopping power. Kill people all over the place.

ACR with the silencer is a brutal for me, I cant kill anyone...lol...with the red dot I fair a lot better

ACR with silencer is so much fun! But only if you are close, if you're far don't even try it lol. That's probably why Izzy suggested drop shotting, because with the reduced range you have to be closer and that leaves you vulnerable. Tactical button setup anyone?!?

iTactical but, i use silenced ACR when i do Gamebattles and i seem to do just fine lol

i think most guns are better at close range =)

Guns are, your chances for survival are not.
And snipers are not good at close range unless you get lucky.

I enjoy the ACR but my favorite gun of all is the AUG H-Bar (LMG).

It has EXCELLENT iron sights, it is nearly as light as any assault rifle, and it's more powerful than any automatic assault rifle. SO powerful, in fact, that you don't need Stopping Power to kill the enemy with two bullets. Therefore, I can get a more handy second perk such as Cold-Blooded.

Try it. You might like it. :) Oh, but make sure you unlock and USE the grip attachment. That's all you really need for accurate firepower.

i used the acr w/ a silncer, one man army pro, cold blood/hardline or stopping power (either idc) and ninja pro and i seem to be raping (well at least thats wat i think) lol...
