So, what other ones do you guys recommend, other than MWF2??

I've only just started getting into FPS and I quite enjoy it...nothing like shooting a s**t talking young-un' right in between the eyes....

sorry, its MW2 warfare is one word... but anyways, halo 3 is good. not sure if your into rpg's but FFXIII is really good

OMG ITS THE WORST THING EVEEEEEEERRR!!!!

When I first started, THE VERY FIRST GAME...I get matched with level 70's and 60's....no need to tell you that I got n00b pwnd....its ridiculous...

i heard that everybody on playstation 3 is bad at CoD and FPS lol, aside from like pros and stuff (like alot less people with skill) :P no offense

I dunno about the FPS and COD, but the level of play on COD is HARD!!!! there isn't as much competition in terms of users so the ones you end up getting are really good....maybe I need to get that XBOX type controller for the PS3

MAG is the only other good FPS I know of that I've played for the PS3.

EDIT: Also, Bad Company 2 is amazing.

I was going to ask about Bad Company, because I'm really thinking about getting it....do you play online and are there a lot of people playing it online?

Unfortunately, I play on the Xbox 360 for that, and pretty much for any other cross platform game. :( There are quite a few playing on the 360? :P The servers have been having some troubles though (typical EA thing.. ) They'll be back up to normal soon.

MW2, MAG, Battlefield 2, Killzone 2 all top the charts.

MAG takes some getting used to. Most people think it suck at first.....but trust me it does grow on you. I now prefer it over MW2. It's just a deeper game.

Battlefield 1943 is pretty darn good considering it's cost.....it was $14.99 (download) might be even less now.

Yeah, MAG did take a little getting used to but as you said, it does grow on you. A lot of reviewers gave it a half good half bad review due to the fact that they probably didn't play a whole lot of it or just thought it'd be something like Call of Duty, or just didn't like teaming up with randoms.

Battlefield 1943 was awesome as well! :)

I wish FFXII had more depth and exploration like FFVII.. its so linear but the storyline and cinematics is pretty awesome.. but that Venille character is starting to get on my nerves and also playing as Hope..

But as for FPS..

The Halo series is good.. Everyone in my crew used to be all on the Halo 2 bandwagon when it was full of double shots and BXRs.. then after 3 came out we played for a little bit a until CoD4 released and then we all jumped ship and played that.. WaW was not really that great IMO so its probably your best bet to stick with infinity ward produced games.. Not so sure about battlefield.. but if you like huge multiplayer mayhem then you should definitely try it.. and another game that i was actually hooked on was borderlands.. its like a FPS rpg with random drops.. so you can loot the game for hours and still not get entirely bored with it..
