Do u have to buy optic cable to use it for online cuz im buy in mine at anaheim!!!

The optical cable will allow 5.1 so yes if you want to get what you paid for.

Technically, you don't need it to play online. While the regular RCA (white-red) input cables will work, you'll only get stereo sound, and not 5.1 "Surround" sound.

With a Coaxiil cable, or an optical cable, you'll get the full 5.1 Surround sound.

also if you use an hdmi cable you can do that mod so you still get your hdmi,but use that Coaxil cable at the same time
