Hey guys, I'm doing a project where I have to look at a press release from a company, tell if it was ever used in a daily newspaper, and describe how I would establish good media relations between said company and a news media.
This has nothing to do with my major, it's just an advanced composition class, any suggestions would be fantastic! I'd like to do something involving astro, if nothing really fits then I'll check elsewhere.
Thanks guys

San Francisco, CA - ASTRO Gaming, creators of premium video gaming equipment for professional gamers, and Upper Playground, leaders in today’s progressive art movement, are launching a second edition of three Artist Series Speaker Tags for the award-winning A40 Audio System.
Three new sets of Upper Playground Speaker Tags are now available for sale via the Astro Gaming website. One design features Sam Flores’ instantly recognizable signature character and the other two represent fresh takes on the distinctive Upper Playground Walrus logo.
“The success of the first edition Upper Playground Artist Series went beyond all our expectations.” said Brett Lovelady, Founder of ASTRO Gaming.“We knew there was plenty of overlap between video gaming and urban culture, and this just confirms it. We just began the fifth printing of our first edition Tags and felt it was high time to release the second edition.”
The Upper Playground Artist Series Speaker Tags are available as part of the Upper Playground Edition A40 Audio System and as standalone Speaker Tag sets in limited quantities. Both are sold exclusively online at www.astrogaming.com and www.astrogaming.co.uk.

Thanks Warblade! I'll definitely try to use this. One more question, it seems kinda unlikely that newpapers are really the type of media that this would be found in, but is there any chance that this was in a newspaper?

This is mostly for LolXCoreZorz... but also to Astro Gaming (I'm sure Astro's Marketing Director is already aware of the following information):
It never hurts to submit a press release in any newspaper. Perhaps you wouldn't gain as much popularity in nationally-distributed press releases, but the local newspapers would love content regarding their local businesses.
Particularly for Astro, I recommend utilizing the Silicon Valley Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times (same company). I'm the marketing communications head for my accounting firm in Silicon Valley and I have a good professional relationship with them. If people are willing to read about accountants in the Bay Area then I'm sure more folks will be interested to read how a growing emerging company is doing with its new partnerships and product releases.
It doesn't cost a dime. But it does take time and energy to nurture the relationship.
