this also happened to me. lucky, i found the screw and bolted it back on using my fingers the closest fitting screw driver i could find. not trying to be so critical about this but why did you use a triangle headed screw? just a question i always wanted to ask? respond any time...
thanks
well...the same thing happened to me and now the whole right side of my headset won't work. Triangle screws probably to make you need astro's support. Not really a DIY situation. Like when Chrysler put the car batteries inside the wheel wells to make it impossible to fix yourself so you had to send it into the shop.

Same here. My a40s also popped a triangle slotted screw. Lucky I found it and the little washer it has also!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't managed to screw it back in that well and am awaiting a replacment set of phones as I speak....errr type!

Many people use the Triangle Screw as it is a very rare to find a driver to match it (There is no shop in the UK that I have found that actually sells one). This stops consumers opening up the product.

i just got my astros last week.. i hope this doesnt happen to mines.. how long did it take before the screw popped loose for you guys?
ive had mine for a year or longer and that hasnt happened yet so i guess im good =)
one of mine fell out two and I lost the thicker of the three shims, so the right ear cup is kind of loose. I already left a support question.
Hope I can get a small hardware baggie.
