OK so my PC is hooked up to an LCD monitor via hdmi, and my 360 is hooked up to my monitor too via hdmi. If i get a cap card like this http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ install it into my pc, will it record my 360 game play if I'm running my 360 as my input?
I would just get the Hauppauge HD PVR but it doesn't have hdmi inputs and i don't feel like spending money for adapters. Thankks !

Connect your 360 to your PC then output your connection to your Monitor if you mean that it is really a TV. Or if you mean it's an actual PC Monitor then just connect your 360 to your PC's BM IP card and play it in Full Screen on your computers monitor.

I believe you hook your xbox up to the card and the card out to the monitor, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure that is a very similar card to what SeaNanners uses, so it should work that way. Be warned though, a lot of people have problems getting those to work properly and I think they can be pretty picky. Study up and good luck, I wish I had one too :)

Its actually a pc monitor. It has 2 hdmi ports.
So i just connect the hdmi from the 360 to the cap card then from the cap card to the monitor and it will record? Thanks for your help, i hate having sick moments in mw2 just being in memory

Yes, you would connect the HDMI from the Xbox to the Capture Card and then the HDMI from the Capture Card to the Computer Monitor. You would then play on the Monitor as normal, no lag.
Although if you are using anything such as Netflix, Zune HD or Playstation 3. They will not show up when you use this capture card (Even on the Monitor) as it doesn't accept HDCP (It stops you recording Movies etc)
Also make sure you have a big HDD
- I recorded in 1080p Uncompressed
- Every ten seconds took up 1GB.
- Every minute took up 6GB
- Every ten minutes took up 60GB
Make sure you have a program which can compress HD Video.

What kind of program can do that?
