when i move the wire that goes from the switch were the mute is it staticky an the mic wont work sometime anyone can help me please i appreciate it

I've had the same exact problem... a total of 4 times now. You can't fix it, all you can do is email astro and hope that they send you a non-faulty one next time.

I believe that piece is the culprit, it has been loose in each pair that astro has sent me.

yea i emailed Astro They have got back to me with a list of things to try nothing work so i gave them my ordder number an shipping adress hope for good one next time

If that part is always a problem has anyone tried just not unpluging that from that port and just unpluging it straight from the mixamp? if you roll up the cable it still fits in the case and everything, thats what i did today when i stopped playing because i had read this thread and it kinda worried me.
