Just order it. The box it comes in works just as well as the hard case.

Well I will be attending events, and bringing the whole box with me is not what I was planning for lol, a case is easy to take with.

I got this today and was disappointed at the lack of case. I'd recommend not purchasing until they have the cases back in stock. I wonder if they'll be shipping the cases free to those that purchased in the mean time. I'm not holding my breath. Also if your going to be going to events you will probably want the ear seals to make the headset closed. This will add an additional $10 and additional shipping if you don't get them at the same time. If your not going to be using the Mic at the events you will want the customized ear tag pack so that you can get another closed ear seal. This will cost you an additional $25. So if you want a closed headset it's a total of $35 extra.

Also if you don't wait for the free cases to be in stock you will most likely cost you additional in the future. As I found out the hard way don't listen to the out of date unboxings on Youtube. What they sell today is not the same in content only in price.

Astro does not sell the foam inserts, they didnt block out much noise at all and will no longer be sold or included.

Astro was including the case with all orders for a limited time, and when those cases ran out the promotion was over.

Are you asking what pro gamers use to block out noise?
It really isnt bad, you arent going to hear everything around you.
Hell I cant hear people talk to me when I have them on and they have to tap me on the back.

For the most part just the headset. Nothing completely blocks out the noise. A lot of pro gamers use astros, a lot use steelseries, a lot use something else. It comes down to personal preference to what you think is the most comfortable.
