Nothing new in this thread.

I'd like to build on the product we have now and improve it.

What I'd like to see is:
microphone clips inside the headset to be made from brass rather than plastic to keep it's grip longer.

for a disconnect point to be at the point where the cable meets the headset.

for the input jacks in the mixamp to be opted out for more sturdier longer lasting jacks.

for the RF choke on the 2.5mm-2.5mm xbox live chat cord to be made smaller.

mmmmm that's all I can think of at the moment.

I'd really like to hear from someone from astro on one or two of these ideas and see if they are realizable or practical from a business and manufacturing point of view.

there is also the matter of the circuitry problem with the new mixamps, there seems to be more people with problems with the new mixamps but i'm sure that is already being taken care of.

Don't get me wrong I love my A40's and if they where to break i'd have another system on it's way that afternoon i'm just trying to help.

-Nevermind.

Don't really follow this one... can you please explain?

Already noted.

Very hard to improve on what's already there, especially with a product's optical port that gets a lot of traction.

We would if we could. :) That's more of an MSFT design thing.

We're always observing and taking in feedback for future revisions and upgrades. Many of the suggestions you have, we're very aware of and are working on. Not to say your suggestions aren't valuable, they absolutely are and only reinforce what we can do to improve our products.

Yep. :)

Much appreciated!

At the jack on the side of each earcup where the boom mic plugs in, there are three plastic clips that hold the mic in place by clamping on the channel cut into the (aluminium?) housing at the base of the jack plug. If they are made from brass or aluminium they will last longer, be less prone to wear from constantly taking the mic out and putting it back in, the mic would not get loose, I know mine is and I just think it'd be an improvement.

Already noted.
Brilliant :)

I was thinking more for the two front 3.5mm and 2.5mm jacks for the headset itself and the xbox live chat cable.

even if the housing was molded smaller and closer to the internal parts, it'd be a welcome change.

Also, I know a few people have had a problem with the 2.5mm xbox love chat cable breaking due to internal wear, could be an idea to up the gauge. Any other ideas on that?
