A40 mixamp turns on for a second then turns off- HELP PLZ

So today I got my a40s and I just finished setting up the headset and mixamp, but there's just one problem. The mixamp turns on for about a second then turns right off, (the red light goes on then goes off.) I'm 100% certain I hooked it up properly because I watched about 4 videos on how to set it up. (I'm using a USB connection and i tried connecting it thru all the USB ports on he xbox360, I also tried using 4aa bateries. It still doesn't work after all these attempts)

I know it's not my xbox because I had the tritton ax360s b4 and it was working. I really want to fix this so if anyone could help me that would be great!

btw: I already sent customer service an email but i'm still waiting on their reply, it's been about 14 hours....:confused:

I believe it does that when the headset is not connected to the mixamp.

I have the exact same issue.

I find if I "double tap" the power button it then turns on.

Now I just need to figure out why there is no audio. . . :(
