so what is your favorite final fantasy game? i would have to say that mine is IX. This came out when i was 8 and just getting into gaming and i can remember being young just playing through it. This game makes me want to buy a playstation lol.

Final Fantasy 9?!? are you kdiding? I played about 3-4 hours into it, and hated it.
I've played all of the old school ones (FF1, 2(japan), 4(japan)/2(us), 5(japan), 6(japan/3(us), 7, 8, 9 (3-4 hours of it), and 10.
It's actually quite hard to say which one is best... FF4/2's story and characters were great, and I still replay that about every 2 years or so. FF5's job system was pretty neat, but the story was just ok. FF6 was amazing, and I think has the largest cast of playable characters, but when it comes down to it, it was just too easy (everyone could learn Ultima). FF7 was groundbreaking, and is definately up there. 8 & 9 were eh. Even 10 was just eh.

I've played maybe one or two but I was to the extreme of a young age for games of that degree. Never was into the turn based action back then. I may have to attempt it again. But I'm in the same boat as you guys, pretty much.

It'll be interesting playing through this one, as it'll be the first RPG in awhile that is "brand new" to everyone. I usually pick up RPGs way after they've come out, and if I get stuck in an area (or if I really want to find some nice items, etc.) I'll go online to gamefaqs.com. =P Think I'll have to go hint free this time around though (maybe take suggestions from you forum-mates, hehe).

well, i would have to say that i havent beaten 6 or 7 so ill have to play those. i think a big part of my liking FF 9 is that it was one of the first rpgs i played, i still would have to say that it's amazing (in my mind) just like 10 is amazing. i hear 13 is good too!

We're actually not weird. Think about it, if there are more "weird" people in the world than "normal" people (which I believe is the case, I mean, just look at us), then "weird" people become the majority, and what is now considered normal, and the "normal" people become the minority (hence making them weird). That's how I justify my actions atleast. ;)
And Izzy, I think that Little Miss BR and stanimal have a Long Distance Marriage (LDM). They're not yet to the Love Making Days. LOL.

Moral of the story is Final Fantasy marriages are never normal. Just look at the people that married online over FF11. Not that Stanimal and Little Miss's LDMarriage is a bad thing, just odd and over a forum....
