Hey everyone, I just got my mixamp in today and after a few minutes of gaming and exploring I noticed that my balance knob makes EVERYTHING quieter when turned to the voice side and EVERYTHING gets louder when it is turned to the game side. I tried this both in game chat and party chat and I'm wondering if this is normal or if I have a faulty product. It seems to me that if I were to turn the knob more to the voice side, the voice would get louder and game would get quieter but this is not the case... and yes I have the 2.5mm connected to my controller. Please help!

Well for one make sure your voice chat is set to headset instead of speakers. If its on speakers its recognized as game audio.

If I do that then I hear no voice at all... maybe my 2.5mm cord is faulty?

Support told me to set voice settings to "Play through headset", but when I do this i can't hear any voice in game or party chat... Any ideas till support can get back to me? I don't have batteries in it, could that be it? It's plugged up by usb now w/ no batteries but thats the only thing i can think of...

Well I don't use batteries and I don't see that as a problem. Something is definitely not working properly with either the mixamp or cables or headset.
