Turtle Beach X41's

Did anyone get a chance to try these out? It looks like Turtle Beach has created a 7.1 Digital Surround sound wireless headset.. I'm very loyal to my A40's but the wireless capability is very tempting....

5.1 has only just been mastered wired with headsets. What would make you think 7.1 would be mastered wirelessly nevermind 5.1 - Dolby have said the 7.1 signal will be squeezed into 5.1 so it isnt really true 5.1
With my previously experience with TB I wouldn't trust them. 7.1 my ass.

Wireless will never be as good as wired, the quality will always be distorted. Trust wired, even tho it can make a mess.

I'll never turn my back on ASTRO by purchasing a Turtle Beach of any kind, wireless or otherwise.

I had the X2's right when they came out. They were on display at Meadowlands 06, and they were the first headsets that Voyetra marketed towards the MLG community.

They made my head hurt so bad, quality was crap compared to anything else, and if you turned far enough to the left, your own head would block the signal. I'd stay away from wireless and TB. Also, they're making lower quality products now, as I believe they just released a PC and Console line for like $29 a piece.

They just wanna make money and sell their junk in walmart. That's what it looks like to me.

Yeah, TB are starting to branch in UK game retailers now too. I seen some X1's for £40 in the store yesterday

READ MY post up there
1. no game on the 360 supports 7.1 accept prototype(which i dont see whyd u play)
2. Its Wireless u get lots of static
3 5.1 to 7.1 is very minimal in my opinion
4. you get mad headaches like bravo said
