Problem number one- Everytime I move the mixamp and turn it off the next time I turn it on I get a buzzing noise in the headset. I can remove the daisy chain and firmly press it in which fixes the problem, but it is a neverending process when going from ps3 to pc.

Problem number two- When talking in vent or in counter strike source I constantly have people telling me that my mic sounds like it has "reverb" or static. I even ran a voice_loopback 1 command and I also heard the noise they are taking about. I followed the configure setting for runing the mixamp and headset on vista via optical cable and usb, although I am running windows 7. Is there anything specific you have to do to run it on windows 7? I do not hear people complaining about the quality of my mic on ps3 so I am trying to track down the problem.

Anyone else run into these problems?

I am thinking I should just try to get a whole new system becuase of problem number one, especially since the cost of these products are far from cheap.

Please contact the Support Team for any technical assistance.

As of right now, Windows 7 isn't supported with using the 2010 MixAmp as a USB device (although you may be able to get it to work, it's an unsupported OS as of now).

Well dang that sucks! I went through the proper procedures and emailed the support tech that had helped me with prior problems but it has been around 26 hours or so before I have got anything back.

Well I guess that answers problem number two, astro seems like a decent company so hopefully if/when they come out with a mixamp that will support windows 7, us current users will get a discount or at least something for compensation.
